Draglist's Journal, 26 Jan 19

Woke at 231.4, up .2 from yesterday. Yesterday was a cheat day for sure with a burger, some beers, some snack mix, and even an apple later. So, time for a fast today and maybe Sunday as well. Have a nice weekend! UPDATE: Denise made meatloaf and I had a slice, plus some broccoli and cauliflower. Weighed 232.0 at 6 pm, so the waking weight is today's low. UPDATE: Blood glucose one hour after finishing meatloaf, broc, and cauli was a nice 83. Supplemental: I'm trying to find out what level of blood glucose allows fat to burn? I posed it to the docs and experts on Twitter without a response yet. My question was: I keep blood glucose below 100, is that the line where I'm burning fat? If I get back to that within 1-2 hours of eating, am I burning fat again? Need to do more research.

Wonder if they would tell you that glucose response matters not as much as insulin response. But that it is very hard to measure insulin response. Let us know what they say

I don't think I've ever connected blood sugar and fat burning... I am learning so much more this time with the BS factoring into the WOE
