Keilin_4's Journal, 15 Jan 19

Before holidays for me was easy to go trough the morning with empty stomach, just eating a light lunch, snacks and a big dinner with husband, lately I don't really feel hungry at dinner. I was thinking to start eating breakfast and lunch and snacks and skip dinner, I can be fine with that, I just want learn to listen to my body as I am trying to find my maintenance, this one is my third week with Daily Average of 1,700 calories if in the next couple of weeks I lose more weight I will add more calories to my daily intake

The thing is that yesterday I told my husband my weight 🤦‍♀️🙊, he never said anything about it before, because I don't look too skinny or underweight, I have muscles and fat but people get nuts when they heard that a person weighs 100 pounds. 🙄

You look great, weight is relative to your frame and 80-120 is typically healthy for a small stature. I am skinny at 200 😊

One hundred pounds at 5' is perfect, actually, and you could even lose another 5-10 if you are small-boned. Do whatever makes you feel healthy. Your husband is probably just used to seeing you heavy, so it may take him a bit to get used to the improved you. I say treat yourselves to something from the lingerie department for some confidence and appreciation!

VIhiii thank you! Good for you😊, I know that I am not under-weight, I am just under-tall. ☹

Kitbingham, Thanks! And yes, that is true, I can lose more weight if I want to, I just decided that I want to continue my body transformation slowly, if I eat enough and exercise regularly my body will change.

lol @ under-tall. My wife is 5 feet tall as well. Well, she says she measured once at 5'2", but I pointed out that she had hiking boots on at the time. Under-tall is now something I'm going to use when giving her a hard time about being short :P Though, like my wife, at least you get to laugh at us taller folk when we hit our heads on the cabinet doors you left open "accidentally"! @Vlhiii: I know what you mean. I remember going to visit my mom at 195 pounds. She said asked me why I wasn't eating enough lol. at 5'10", I wore a size 34 jeans. Of course, all the men in my family are pretty stocky, so to them, I probably looked like I was starving myself!

Aww, sweet mom! For some reason the people who love you, love to feed you, right? It's what my husband does. I am sure that he loves me and he is happy with my achievement, but he believes that if I have already lost weight, I should no longer worry about counting my calories. haha

I can't stop counting calories, now I make sure I have enough since I have been cutting for so long

Keilin, feeling good about our weight and bodies is important, and it sounds like you do. 5' is very petite and not unusual to have a target weight of 100 lbs. My husband is always trying to get me to eat more, never understanding how fragile my willpower is. I think family members can be frightened by change, but if its right for us then we need to stay strong. Best to you!
