Tuna salad at a lovely wee cafe in Moffat after a fairly brutal first hike of 2019. Wasnt even tempted by scones! Mindset is definitely changing.

Well I suppose everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion. However, for me this is certainly far better than the pizza and chips I would have previously eaten.

It’s very good. Are you also on Keto? I ate smoked salmon and salad for lunch today.

mmm piza forget the chips. Just when i see anemic salads they turn me off, tomatoes are good though. It does look more like a pub offering that is geared to charge the most for the least capital outlay. If you make it yourself, use darker green leaf salad like the lollo rosso type and warm the tomatoes, packed full of nutrients that do you a world of good.

Cinhbell yeah I’m giving Keto a go and it is certainly working for me. I love smoked salmon, mmm, brunch for tomorrow it shall be. Mindful this was from a cafe and cost around £5 if I remember correctly. I was expecting a plate less than half the size with a lot less variation. Oven baked tomatoes go down well in my house! Kids won’t eat them from the fridge but will happily have a plate full of roasted Mediterranean style vegetables. Same with baby spinach, blanched with a wee bit of garlic butter. Delicious!
