Woke at 223.0, up .4 from yesterday after a big day of eating. Bought Tim Ferris's 4-Hour Body book yesterday, which details the Slow Carb Diet. Will be checking that out. Also, spent some time reading some articles by James Barnum, which have me considering eating my full amount of calories burned each day for the remainder of the year. Have to do some sort of reset as eating consistently 800-1000 calories less than I burn each day and staying relatively low carb is no longer working. UPDATE: Ate dinner at 5:30 pm, but weighed in at 221.4 before that. Ate chicken breasts, broccoli, and cauliflower. But then Jason arrived with a turkey and bacon sub and I ate that, too. UPDATE: Went out and saw the Crimes of Grindenwald movie. Pretty good, but I missed the first one so I was a little lost. Definitely feeling the effects of eating that sub roll earlier. Ate some cheese, almond butter, and sugar free apricot preserves. Looked at some Nature Valley bars Denise and Jason have but luckily for me they have 27 grams of carbs in them!

The struggle is real, I stop losing weight if I eat too few calories for long time, eating 500 calories s couple of days and 1200,1500, 2000+ calories others, seems to work best for me. I hope you find your balance

Hope this work out better for you, Draglist. I am always trying out new things ... LOL! In the end, intermittent fasting and low, low carb seem to work best for me. (And I had to give up wine while on Keto).

You are definitely doing a reset this year Draglist. Trying something new is a great way to confuse the body. Our body just gets used to how we eat and then eventually adapts to it. I eat a lot of calories a few days and then a few times I eat less, but I am always keeping my net carbs under 20. The calorie fluctuation is not intentional. It's just how my meals work out sometimes. I get bored eating the same things. I can't wait to see how you do.
