Lifting Day 20 carbs planned
✈️ Finally back from vacation. I 'only' gained a pound. Surprised it is not more because I completely 'went off the rails yesterday'. 2k+ calories and 200+ carbs.
🏋🏽♂️ Even though today is a lifting day I am low carbing it. I am sure my muscles are still 'topped off' with glycogen. If not, too bad because I am tired of eating! Seriously, I was eating compulsively and wasn't even enjoying eating. I got in really late and went to bed at 2:00am and was eating the entire time.
🙏 Sooo going off the rails in a 'carb binge' is a total disaster mentally. Physically I am suppose to be 'bulking up' but I now see that, for me, mental MUST come before physical. Actually 'spritually' must come first, to allow me to 'get right' mentally...
🤸🏾 Today my main goal is to pick a gym. My two options in 3 mile walking distance are Gold's or LA Fitness... ** Update ** Decided to get off my but and just join the gym right now. Looked at Gold's but they are mostly a smaller 'bootcamp' type of place. I just want to get in and get out. Also, they wanted $34 a month, 3 months paid up front, and a $50 intiation fee. LA Fitness wanted $99 initiation fee and $24 a month. Then I found out I could log into my AAA membership site and go to deals, then LA Fitness, and get a link that allowed me to waive the $99 initiation fee. I still had to pay "first and last months membersip, but it was $59.98 out the door. 👌 Achievement Unlocked 👌
