Day 5 of a planned 5 day fast

I'm done losing weight. Today I hit my 'normal BMI' (24.8 BMI - 163lbs at 5' 8"). I only wanted to do this once in my life. I did it, now, I'm done :)

I still have a 'belly' (I am holding it in for the picture), but, when I look in the mirror I feel like 'skin and bones' on every other part of my body.

Now is the time for weight lifting and putting on muscle!

I have tried everything to lose weight over the years, and fasting is what finally worked for me. I am REALLY BAD at fasting. I have only ever done a 'pure water-only fast' one day. A few milestones:

12/17/2010 - 232 lbs. - Started on FatSecret.com
01/07/2018 - 214 lbs. - Started the most recent diet
03/25/2018 - 210 lbs. - Started my first 'liquid only' fast
08/03/2018 - 163 lbs. - Normal BMI weight

congrat's on getting to your weight goal. You are looking good holding in your belly or not the difference is like night and day.

@baskington - Thanks! (and thank you for the hundreds (thousands?) of words of support you have given me!) - but the rest of my body is 'gaunt'. Arms and legs are 'not pretty' :( I have to go back to eating daily.

@Mjgh06 - Thanks for all your support! Non-food celebration?? 'fat' chance! :) We have some Keto dinners planned for the weekend! (However, I get pizza for myself tonight to break my fast - I do this every week).

@reader1 - Agreed! "maintenance" is the 'real' phase. It helps that my wife (@PrincessValerie) is on Keto so I am basically switching to OMAD (One Meal A Day) Keto...

Hit the iron bro... start off slow... and then have a serious iron party on a regular basis... I make it a religion... and have been doing it all along..and recently visited friends and relatives I haven't seen in a few years... shock is the only word that applies to their reaction... particularly since most of them continue to let themselves deteriorate..
