Sad and stressful day. My son called me and was frantic. Had found a young deer that had been attacked by something. I rushed home and realized the little deer wasn't going to make it. Poor little thing was crying in pain. Was going to try to take him to the vet but his neck was broke and as soon as we moved him he died. My son was devastated. A hard hard lesson to learn. Buried the poor little thing and stayed strong to comfort my sobbing child. Will be glad when the day is over...
