I really worry about people on this site..
I just wanted to point out that if you intermittent fast 16/8 it doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want lol, your in a calorie deficit because your giving up 1 meal... but if you eat more in 8 hours then you would in a full day you can still gain weight... it’s not magic!
Also stay close to your daily calorie goal, 10/15% max! This will max it easier to maintain a deficit! And my god people actually eat good food!! What is actually wrong with a lot of you!

Different ways of eating suit different people. On work days, I generally fat for approx. 23/24. Only coffee and water the rest of the time. It suits me not to stop to eat or have to consider food. Intermittent fasting is a benefit of a ketogenic diet as I have no drop in energy levels when I don't eat as my stored energy is utilised. Live and let live.

And I eat plenty of fabulous, delicious food from all of the food groups, and avoid all the refined, processed rubbish :)

I personally think that some people don’t know anything about food. I understand the work thing, ppl do struggle to eat well at work but I read so much stuff on this app we’re ppl are absolutely starving them self’s and calling it a way of eating and then in 2 weeks they’ve gained weight because what they were doing is not sustainable

Your right but we’ve all been there when I first started getting serious about food I nearly ended up in hospital it was all part of learning

Fasting and starvation are completely separate processes and the body works very differently under each condition. Someone eating a calorie controlled diet can also make incredibly unhealthy choices, be deficient in vitamins and minerals, making themselves unwell. It isn't about fasting or which type of diet, it's about making sure people know what their body needs and what they're putting into their bodies :)
