Directions
- Heat oven to 180 °C, roll out pastry and line 26 cm flan dish.
- Cream together sugar, flour, eggs, butter, almonds and vanilla extract.
- Spread jam in bottom of pastry case.
- Bake for 45 minutes, check for browning too quickly and cover with foil if needed.
- Check cooked through with a skewer or knife in the middle.

Reviews
The directions are too minimal. Does not even say roll out the pastry case. At 366 calories per serving and 16 servings this is way too tempting to have on a regime because there would be so much left over,unless the whole thing is going to be eaten because you have a large family. Are there not better puddings/desserts around to add to a health website without quite so much sugar fat and carbs all in one.
