Hearty and tasty chicken bake that makes for a pleasing easy dinner.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
- Place tomatoes in medium bowl. Add stuffing mix, water and garlic; stir just until stuffing mix is moistened. Set aside.
- Place chicken in 13 x 9" baking dish; sprinkle with the basil and cheese. Top with stuffing mixture.
- Bake 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve with a side salad or some steamed vegetables.

I discovered that the diced tomatoes I had already had basil and garlic which saved that step but maybe changed the stats a bit (I'll check the next time I make it). This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Loved this. I did make some minor changes instead of the garlic and basil I used a bruschetta spice blend and used fresh tomatoes instead of canned. Even the hubby loved it and that says a lot.

Didn't having any stuffing in the pantry, but couscous served as a very tasty replacement. Loved it.
