I have shown a gain of 1.1/4lb I did eat extra this week to try and boost my system but it didn't work so back on my diet again hope I will show a loss next week getting despondent

You've done so well though to date. Don't give up, just look at what you've done to be successful so far then tweak that to continue. Don't forget that as you lose weight it takes fewer calories to just survive (ie your Basal Metabolic Rate falls) so you might have to move around a bit more or eat a bit less to kick-start the loss again.
