I have shown a gain of 1/2lb this week cannot understand it oh well keep going mustn't give in my body is testing me and I won't let it win I have lost 3st only 1st to go.

A half pound is nothing to worry about, you have done an amazing job this far, ease yourself back onto your chosen plan, do not overreact and go crazy, just try to be a little more diligent here and there, you should be back to losing a half pound or more instead of gaining it.
