51 days to go
17.7 lbs to go
20 g net carbs yesterday

nonscale victory..met the dad of one of my daughters schoolfriends in the village yesterday.. he started to flirt with me, then realised who i was (he is divorced by the way).. hes known me for 11 years.. how funny!

thanks to everyone for support when i was having a rotten day yesterday.. i got through it with your help !!!

feeling brave and going to ask my boss for some comments on my work for my annual appraisal .. its for june 2016-june 2017 and her only comment was that i was off with illhealth from april 2016-feb 2017.. ive tried so hard since i returned and they changed my job.. and worked my socks off in the last 4 months. ive taken loads of management work off her !!I think that deserves a bit of recognition..so ill email her and we can discuss when she is back in work tommorrow

aiming for a 20g net carbs day today and 16:8, which means i am fastin till 11.30 this morning, so ill get some almonds on my way into work when i buy my water (when it was 35 degrees in the office last week, we were told were not allowed to drink from the water chillers in the hospital as theyre for patients and the trust cannot afford us to drink this as it costs too much)

tried the exercise bike last night, but my ankle swelled.. will try again tonight, as im actually feeling the urge to exercise, but cant go walking yet.. i used to run 2-3 times every week and go away walking before my pelvis separated when i was pregnant (and i got crutches)-.. ill never do that again, but sometimes dream im running..then wake up and realise its defo a dream..so even my
subconscious wants me to exercise :)!!

have a happy and successful day fs buddies :)

How nice to be flirted with and funny he didn't recognise you after knowing you for so long! I think it's disgusting of the hospital to deny it's workers water under any circumstances let alone when the temperature is so high. Sorry about your ankle on the exercise bike. I woke up with my knee really hurting today so I think I might have to cancel my walk with the group tomorrow. I can understand your frustration at not being able to do the things you want to do. Congratulations on the loss and I'm so glad you managed to get through the day without giving into the carbs. You are stronger than you think you are 😊

Nice drop, Poppy. I would love to be able to run again, too. I am sorry the bike caused your ankle to swell. Boy, you must look really great now to have the men flirting with you. :)

Hey Doobrie... hope your knee feels better. Maybe something like diclofenic or ibuleve gel( check with pharmacist). Thanks Jocko and adpully.. I've decided to give it my all now and see what progress I can make. Thanks phooka and real gone girl 😎 Mom.. I was Ina dress and heels from work.. I'm normally wandering round our village in trackers, vest top and uggs.. for a year my back was too swollen to wear anything fitted .. but I did find it really amusing, I probably wouldn't have recognised me from me a year or so ago either 😁

Thanks Poppy. I put ibuleve gel on this morning (I didn't check with the pharmacist - I checked online - lol!). It certainly helped and the pain went completely. With any luck it will be OK in the morning and I can go on my walk. I've put some more gel on this evening just to be on the safe side 🙂

Yay Doobrie.. hope you feel well enough for your walk, but stop if it hurts.. if they're used to walking at a fast pace, you may need to work up to that. Good luck !

Yes, that's what I was thinking Poppy. Oh well, we'll see how I get on today.
