58 days to go
21lbs to go
Very annoyed with myself that a few days with carbs meant my weight was back to the same as 5th may, so I've wasted 6 weeks of effort 😡
Managed 18 hr fast yesterday, before I took my younger daughter out to lunch ( she was having a hard time at work experience)
Went to pizza express- amazed by how many calories are in mozzarella and tomato salad
But I managed to have chicken salad with dressing on the side.. ate one crouton and left the rest and the bread that went with it. Estimated the portion size of ingredients by deconstructing the salad. Watched daughter eating dough balls, pizza and hot chocolate fudge cake and tried not to dribble!
Looked up carb content of dough balls and desserts and they were so high ( unsurprisingly!!) that I persuaded myself not to eat them.. highly recommend this to fs friends as a useful strategy if you are about to make an unhealthy choice👍

The salad had tiny little red peppers I hadn't eaten before..they were lovely.. so overestimated potion size I put normal red peppers, but they were very sweet.. anyone know what they'd be?
Ooh.. and I avoided a lovely bottle of rose to go with the BBQ tonight 😁
Annual leave today to do tax/VAT, but OH is dismantling and building sofas and it's gonna be hottest day of the year so far, so not sure how much I'll get done

Reading fs friends journals has reminded me I have ACV in cupboard.. it won't help if I don't use it!

Loving the heat, shame it's gonna get cooler from tomorrow 😔.. those of you in warmer climes probably won't understand how exciting 34 degrees is here 😊
Enough of my confessions.. have a happy and successful Wednesday fs friends 😎😎

Kudos to you for making wiser choices in the Pizza Express. Definitely a tough place to dine while watching someone else eating this way. Stay strong. Congrats on the loss.

You've learned so much to deconstruct what you're eating to record it and stay on track! And WoW 😳 a will of iron in the Pizza Express ! Doing great! I've actually had some frozen yogurt and ice cream lately and discovered that I prefer my protein shakes and smoothies? WTH? LOL 😂 THAT was a shocker! I knew I couldn't touch commercial smoothies; they're gross! But ice cream 🍦! My favourite food in the world? It kinda sucks, but not. 🙆🏻

Those were probably roasted red peppers. To make them at home, you slice them up and broil them, then take them out of the oven and immediately dunk them in a bowl of ice water. Peel off the skins, and viola! They are amazing on salads and in soups or rolled up in meat and lettuce wraps.

Thanks smprowett and Nanette61. Nanette, one of my daughters found out what a the tiny peppers were, they're called sweetdrop peppers.. try them, they're amazing. It's 4am now.. what I wouldn't do for your pepper suggestion or sweetdrop peppers ☺️
