Last week I have eaten fairly badly some days in terms of quality of food, I have eaten too much junk really, more than I would normally do, and I have eaten pretty much whatever I like, which I usually do anyway, I am looking to bring my fat intake down to a more reasonable level in the coming weeks, as I have been eating too much of the stuff by the look of it.

I have been to KFC, Mcdonalds, the bakers, had a pot noodle, iced cream and a few other choice nibbles and have still lost at least 1lb, I have only been over my RDI once this last week and zero times the week before, which means my average is 10-12% under my RDI so I do not worry if I go over now and then because I figure as long as I stick to about 90% of my RDI regularly, I am kind of paying it forward for days when I overdo it and this is my safety net.

Though I have had weeks like that before, it still surprises me to see a 1lb loss because many of us, myself included, have been brainwashed into believing that such foods as mentioned above, and other certain foods are the devil's fodder and you cannot lose any weight unless you drink water purified by angels and eat fat free dust and I was convincing myself I could not have lost anything, though it would not matter too much as I had a 2lb loss last week, so would still be on track for 1lb a week average.

It just goes to show that 'diets' or 'diet food' are just not required for most folks, you just have to eat a variety of regular food, and enjoy your food, but do not over indulge too often. Righto I am off to KFC to celebrate ;-) ...

Been clearing out the garden and moving some rubbish and trash, have been up to the local tip twice with a car stuffed full of bin liners filled with old rubbish, old paint cans, old boxes and paper and other various nonsense. I had maccydees for brekkie, got a discount ticket, so went back and had lunch too, for £1.99, such a great start to the week, doh, but hey, it was convenient, and pretty tasty, for crappy food anyway...and I have been kinda busy so not worried... Home now, shower number 2 shortly and then back to the day job... Best wishes Neil
