Not bad! Another pound. Conferring I had an extra slice of bread and a biscuit watching the fireworks on the telly in between ferrying teenagers around.

Also.. I did chicken breast in a marinade that comes in a bag.. how the hell do you work out how much marinade is on your portion of chicken? Ideas anyone??

Happy new year all my fs buddies.. may 2017 be a happy, healthy and successful year for you xx

Great loss! I would just guess the calories of the marinade 🙂

Good loss there! Regarding the marinade - the nearest way would be to calculate the calories in the whole lot and weigh it. Then weigh it after taking out the meat and recalculate the calories. So if the marinade weighed 500g before and was 300 Calories then when you weigh it after its 400g you've got 100g on the meat so 60 Calories. If I'm doing a marinade that includes yoghurt that I then bake on (eg Chicken Tikka) I just count the whole lot.

Measure the marinade first. Then after doing the chicken measure what is left. Divide by number of pieces of chicken to get individual portion. That's the best I can figure. Hope it helps :)
