ARB0001's Journal, 02 Nov 16

So it seems that it was just or mostly a fluctuation (last weigh in)
I seem to be back on track as a general trend. (yay)

I've known for a few days that my numbers were ticking back in the right direction, but I wanted to see if I'd rebound again before I updated online

I'm going back to not recording a 'number' until I see the number below it for weight loss, and I'm now going to do the same for weight rises too (I'm not going to record it unless I see the number one higher)

I reckon if I keep one number behind the trend then I can skim off the natural fluctuations. (I'm actually seeing 177.8 as the true lowest number but that won't count until I can see 176.8)

I know some people may think my method isn't as honest as stating the number I am seeing on the scale, but I'm not attempting to be dishonest, my scales-weight will always be +1 on the trend happening (ie weight-1 on losses, and weight+1 on gains) and if I am bouncing backwards and forwards so I don't know which rule to apply, then I'll probably just not record at all :-)

81.1 kg Lost so far: 36.8 kg.    Still to go: 17.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.4 kg a Week

I've been thinking about only recording new lows. Upward movements are not really of interest at the moment, as they are 'blips' of one sort or another, as the trend is definitely downward, no matter how slowly it's going. The 'zig-zag' effect does really tell me very much, except that weight fluctuates.
