Well! I'm a little surprised by this loss.
It's a beautiful Fall morning, 49 and breezy, heading up to 70 or so. Which means the folks around here will be bundled up in puffy jackets and ski caps. LOL! I have the windows open in the house, and I'm digging the crisp, fresh air. Today, I'm grateful for changing seasons!
Thursday, I took the computer that Win10 killed to a repair shop here in town, since the guy that was supposed to come fix it before Matthew hit, never called me back. Much more reasonable rates, and I don't have to hang around while he works on it. On the way home, I stopped at the fishmonger, and picked up a half pound of jumbo shrimp. For lunch yesterday, I butterflied them and grilled them, basted in BBQ sauce. SO good!
Yesterday I think I paid the price for the KFC...the joint pains and muscle aches I had forgotten returned with a vengeance. No, I cannot eat wheat!
I have a short day at work today, but it's going to be hectic. I like it like that, though...better than sitting around, waiting for the next appointment.
Have a great weekend, buddies!

Congratulations on the loss!!! And sorry to hear about the KFC results. Funny how we think we can sneak one by on our bodies sometimes, and hope it won't notice, huh? Lol! But those butterflied jumbo shrimp sound absolutely DIVINE! Do you make your own BBQ sauce? Anyway, have a great day at work (I agree that hectic is way better than clock-watching!) and a wonderful, blessed weekend!

Thanks, y'all! Work was good, and apparently, the wheat is out of my system, because the joint pain has gone again. My new nickname at work is, "Skinny". !!!!!!!! And one of my clients said she didn't recognize me from behind because my back is so much narrower. Yippee!

Kes, I was out all day yesterday and missed this. Great loss, and great attitude, as always. It's too bad about the KFC, it sounded so good. I've had two Windows 10 crashes lately, both caused by forced updates. Luckily, my laptop is still under Dell's service agreement and they were able to fix it remotely. The first guy took two hours, the second guy took about 10 minutes. I wrote down what the second guy did because I don't trust that this is the last time it will happen. I also bought an external hard drive because the second guy asked me if I'd be ok if I lost all of my data during the repair process. Was he kidding? Good luck.
