This may not be a very accurate reading as I didn't have a spare D type battery and haven't been able to get to a shop tonight.

But the scale showed me 187.0 this morning, and I don't trust the number enough to record what I saw, so I'll record 188 for now.

(I always get on the scale 2 or 3 times before I believe the number I see, and the scale didn't have enough battery juice to cope with my triple try)
85.3 kg Lost so far: 32.7 kg.    Still to go: 21.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.1 kg a Week

I do that too, so glad I'm not alone with my daft quirky ways..... I've even put my feet wider apart then closer together just in case it's a fluke reading in the past..... so pleased to see you've lost weight it could 2 it could be 3 lbs whatever its a great loss keep at it flower you know it makes sense!!!

Thanks Maggy! For me, I sometimes think I delayed putting the second foot on and so it was 'off balance' - other times I think it makes a difference if you have your hands on your hips or hanging down loosely. There might be a problem if I'm not looking straight ahead at the right moment. :-) But I only ever feel like that if I am losing more than the ideal amount of weight - I don't mind if I am accidentally recording too little weightloss vs reality because that is just like a reserve against the following week (makes next weeks end result easier to reach)

Oh and the scale has new batteries - I am glad I only recorded 188 because I haven't seen 187 again yet
