Back in the 70's..yay!
So,as I wrote I was going to do yesterday, I did some EFT, talking to my body about how things get metabolized. I also upped my intake to over 1400 Kcal, on the suggestion of my buddy SugarWaffle. Thanks, Sugar!
SOME thing worked, because I woke up feeling smaller today. Weighed and measured, and sure enough, a half inch gone in every area measured. Hmmmm.
The "apron" is almost gone, and it looks like my skin will tighten up so I won't have a saggy belly. I wasn't overly concerned about it, because at 60, my bikini days are past. LOL.
It's a good day to do good things, Buddies! Happy Friday, and don't let the weekend derail you. ;)

Yay....celebrating with you!!!!! LOL, I thought the same about my bikini days....but I do like sexy undies now with my old apron gone LOL. But my apron was huge....it weighed almost 15 lbs!!! I started as a heavy weight some 10 years ago.

An excellent loss. It is the possibility of loose skin that worries me, or to be precise, my wife!

Wow, Linny! I'm just glad to be able to wear undies that don't roll down my belly when I sit down! LOL! #FatGirlProblems

Thanks Jocko and my sweet buddy April! I think I can attribute the skin elasticity to fasting. I remember reading that when you fast, cellular changes happen that makes them become an internal "fountain of youth".

Great, you got this!

I'm so happy for you! I'm interested in that loose skin too, because I hate my apron. I expect saggy skin and I'll settle for that but if the skin tightens up that will be a plus. Interesting that Dr. Fung says that it's that really bad fat that goes first and I know it must because my pants are telling the story there.

@Sue, exactly! Maybe those days when the tape measure hasn't changed is when the fat around the liver, spleen and heart is going away.

Wouldn't that be a great thing and a huge step towards better health. I don't use the tape measure but my scale has certainly been going up and down a little since I first got near 220 but the pants have consistently gotten a little bigger. It's a shame I didn't hold on to the next size down but in a fit of cleaning the place out I think I donated them. I was so convinced that I'd never see a smaller size again, but now I'm sure I will.

@Sue, I've gotten rid of so many clothes that I've shrunk out of. On my way down to my goal, I'm just picking up essentials at Goodwill. I'm not going to spend big $$$ on clothes that will be too big in a couple of months! Once I'm at my goal weight, I'll treat myself to a wardrobe, and will use that to let me know if I'm wobbling on weight. If they start getting tight, I'll know I need to tighten up on my food, too.

Agree with you completely. If I keep going down I don't need that much size to size, just enough to get to the next size down.

@Sue, not "IF", "WHEN"!

Cool, MsK - I'm dogging your footsteps on getting into the 170's. I've been farting around in the 180's for over two months - all entirely my fault. I too am not seeing much "waist loss" and hoping that means the fat around the organs is melting away. I see a bit of visual change in the apron area. To progress!

(oops, I hope that old phrase doesn't make April think I'm calling you some nasty name!)

LOL! We will explain it to her if it does, Trackin! LOL!

Great loss - and doesn't it feel good to reach another milestone!

Thanks, Doobs! For this one, I'm revisiting it. LOL! I reached it last week for the first time, and then decided to take my internal 'chemistry set' for a sin, and threw a potato at it. It bumped me up, but this time it came off fairly quickly.

Sounds good - keep experimenting!
