NERD ALERT!
Disclaimer: No one is paying me to state the following. Opinions are my own.
I am so excited about working out again after getting a Polar H7 heart monitor (approx. £37 with postage) and free Polar Beat phone app.
I was using a Polar FT4 watch and heart monitor when I started my workouts a couple of months ago. I complemented this by logging my stats (workout duration, calories burned, average/max HR and time in workout zone) in a spreadsheet to track my progress.
Now all this information is kept in the app for me with the added benefit of showing me level of workout intensity and minutes at that intensity. 💪🏾👊🏾
I’m a sucker for data and now I’m feeling quite competitive with myself. I want to work out more and harder and just do more stuff ... within reason and without injury of course.
Have a great day everyone!
