mskestrela's Journal, 02 Mar 17

It's been a busy week so far. Work is packed, feeling better, but still a little congested.
Today, I had planned on making another video for my Little Cooking series, but my neighbor asked me to help her take her 3 dogs to the vet for shots. It was right in the middle of the day, and 2 of the dogs get very aggressive with the vet, so it ate up a good portion of the afternoon. On the way home, I stopped at the local fishmonger. They had beautiful big shrimp, so I got a half pound. After feeding the kitties, I searched for shrimp recipes, and found "Bang-bang shrimp". I keto-fied it by leaving out the flour and cornmeal, but making a 'breading' of egg and cornstarch. OMG! Why have I never eaten this before?? I think the sauce makes the dish. I could probably just saute shrimp in butter, coat them with the sauce, and it would be just as good.
I've been stable on weight, because I've been eating breads and a few starches. Still very low carb (under 50g a day) but wheat is what it is. I may have developed celiac from being off wheat for so long, but it seems every time I eat wheat, I get cramps and diarrhea. Still, the 23:1 IF seems to be keeping me stable.
I found a video today that is a gift from the Gods. I link it here so you can enjoy it, too.

Brilliant video. I can never get as good results with my Looper pedal as the violinist does. Perhaps it has more to do with "talent" than technology!

What a coincidence, Ive been looking around in my local market shops to find a sweet chili sauce to make a recipe I found with the exact same sauce but with noodles. I know I shouldn't have the noodles! lol. Great recipe you shared, thank you. Also checked out your lets make a little videos, very nice! And lastly, thanks for the music share. I particularly liked the violinist. Great talent, thanks!

I agree with you both...the violinist was amazing. I've been fascinated by Looper technology since KT Tunstall's video for "Black Horse". Blew my mind! The vocalist who used the Looper gave me chills, too.

Thanks for the link, Kes. Brilliant video - never seen anything like that before. Took a couple of minutes for me to realise what the violist was doing. I didn't know anything about Looper technology. Really good to watch such talented people 🙂
