So I've lost 2 inches off my waist .. woohoo, since 18 Dec.. so most of the weight I've lost is the really unhealthy belly fat caused by my insulin resistance

That's great! I use my measuring tape a lot. I do a waist to hip ratio sometimes. A waist 35 and under is out of the risk zone. A scale is nice, but it really isn't telling you where you are carrying most of the fat.

Initial goal to get under 40, then work to 35..
I definitely carry fat around my middle ( due to impaired glucose tolerance )
So it's really good news for my health 😁
