Although I find LCHF a great diet my diet suffered today. I had really been missing cereal for breakfast. So I told myself some fibre would be a good thing. I began the day with a serving of bran flakes and milk. Bang went my carbohydrate allowance in one meal.

By Midday the weather was set fair and although rain was forecast it looked like a half reasonable afternoon. I parked up on my drive and donning my boiler suit, (Looks like a big navy blue baby grow) launched myself into a full service on my trusty steed. Four hours later I had completed the service tasks and only suffered one rain shower. Leaning into the car’s engine compartment and laying underneath it made me feel rather cold and ravenously hungry. Feeling pretty pleased with myself I put the tools I had used away and changed out of my big blue onesy.

Scrub up completed just in time for dinner. Lulu Lowcarb had cooked a typical Sunday roast. It was only one day off plan and we both enjoyed eating all the things we should really be avoiding. Oh dear that’s another 90 carbs to the wind.

Settling down to watch TV I heard the strains of green sleeves being played over a PA system. I instantly visualised a soft whip ice-cream with a flake sticking out of the top. I thought my diet is suffering today, but how much worse can an ice-cream make it. After enjoying every lick and bite I looked up the carb damage. It was another 42 carbs. Oh well one day wouldn’t hurt too much. I hope.
