Saturday:
As far as a diet goes it was an unusual day, spent experimenting with LCHF stuff.

The devilled eggs went down a storm. The jalapeno fridge snacks were a bit of a damp squib, but the low carb pepperoni pizza was very tasty and Moreish.

My son popped over in the afternoon and while we ate we watch a DVD film, “Absolutely Anything.” I found it hilarious; my son on the other hand thought it was puerile. It’s a total comedy fantasy. About a group of superior extra-terrestrials granting God like powers to a secondary school teacher for 10 days.

The leading man is a teacher played by Dan Pegg, I have seen most of his films and not been disappointed by any of them. The leading lady was played by the impeccable Kate Beckinsale. She is the daughter of Richard Beckinsale who played in the TV series “Porridge with Ronnie Barker.

The alien’s voices were supplied by the Monty Python team, of whom I have always been a fan. It was notably Robin Williams’s last voice over role. He played the part of a speaking dog called Denis. It’s well worth a view if you are prepared to switch off all logic and allow yourself to be transported to the land of make believe.

Sunday:
I blew my carb count today, but am still under my calorie count for the day. Oh well its Sunday the next weigh in will tell me if I blew it for the day or not.

I had spent some time today with a neighbour working on his 1100cc Honda motor bike engine. My conclusion was his piston rings had seized to the bore of one bank of his cylinders. We decided to fill that bank's cylinders with neat diesel and leave it to soak for two weeks to see if it frees off. Perhaps I will get to wash my car tomorrow. :o)

I really don't know whether I would like that film or not, but perhaps I'll give it a try one day.
