does anyone know how to add more protein into my diet?
my wheel always has only about a quarter to an eighth protein most days :(

By the end of the day, if I didn't have protein enough, I snack on bresaola. It's low in fat, carbs, calories and lots of protein. Good luck!

Looking at your food diary it appears you're vegetarian so meat, fish and poultry aren't options. If that's the case, I'd be adding nuts, eggs and cheese (look out for true vegetarian ones that don't use animal rennet). Also legumes like chickpeas and lentils. Consciously add at least one of these to each meal. Try pancakes made with chickpea flour (besan / gram flour) topped with fruit, nuts and unsweetened yoghurt or cream for breakfast (or dessert). Or a cheese omelette with veg. Cutting down on sugary stuff will also give you more calories to play with to eat more protein. All the best!

Thank you very much also for your advice :) the rest of my family are vegetarian so I don't usually have meat in the house. Youralternatives sound great!
