I am very pleased with the LCHF diet. This morning at weigh in I am down to 90Kg. For our cousins across the pond that's 198 lbs.

Over the weekend I watched a life style video which stated exercise in the morning before eating was the best way to burn fat on a LCHF diet. The reason being insulin and sugar levels are at a low. So our bodies burn fat as fuel.

Running around the streets in a dayglow exercise outfit would give the morning rush hour commuters an object of derision to lighten their day, but not for me. So I resurrected my cross training exercise bike from my shed. It now takes pride of place in my dining room. Not very aesthetically pleasing I admit, but will do until I sort out a proper place for it.

I had forgotten what a nice compact piece of kit this is. I set to it for a gentle intro and kicked off with just 15 minutes this morning. It definitely got me into the cardio zone, I was panting afterwards, but that's good, right?

A little research on the web shows they are no longer expensive. Tesco are selling them from £85.00.
