Wow, been a long time since I actively used this site, but it's about time I do an update.
In January I hit the highest weight I have ever been in my life: 198lbs. My BMI was sitting at 33.0 which is considered Obese. I had to do something about it as not only did I look like a balloon, but I felt sick all the time.
At around January 10, I began changing my eating habits. For those who don't know, I switched over to Atkins from Weight Watchers, although WW has worked for me in the past, this time I just wasn't dropping the weight. So far, in 10 weeks I have managed to lose a total of 30lbs and 4 inches circumference. This has brought my BMI to 28.1 which has me in the overweight category. My goal weight is 140lbs. I think the 140-146 range is a maintainable weight as long as I eat clean on a regular basis and only treat myself once in a while.
Here are some progress pictures. First row is my heaviest at 198lbs. Second row is myself at 168lbs. Last row is 168lbs trying on clothing from when I was heavy. Wish me luck in the second part of my road to getting healthy!
