Grandpa is doing much better today, thank goodness! Yesterday, I managed to eat properly (except for a late meal but it was only 250 calories). I cooked a big meal and portioned it out so that we have prepared, healthy food for a few days. I did rest yesterday and did about 4000 steps (not much) and my legs today were much better for it. Today I really enjoyed walking. My dog is normally nervous about rain but with my giant umbrella we did a 1 mile walk in the rain. He did just fine. I think it is because we took him into the pool when we went on vacation. After that, I walked over to my friend's house (about 1 mile away) for a tea party. That was fun! Didn't over do it and green tea doesn't really add calories. Then, after that, another 1 mile walk (and a bit more) with my dog. I did get very sleepy this afternoon and did some research. I am probably overdoing it and not giving my muscles enough food. I read that I should eat a banana or something with peanut butter prior to my walks to try avoiding getting sleepy after a workout. Also, drink more water. Will give it a shot, I normally eat after my morning walk.
So, today was a very positive day all around. Hope to keep it up.
