New scales , yay!
Back to recording and feeling in control, yay!
Not put in as much as I thought with a week of 4 birthdays including my own and a very sick kitty 🎉
Over £300 of vouchers for clothes for my birthday ! Yay!
The cat is getting better, yay!!🎉🎉

The bad news .. still waiting for surgery on the left of my back.
Saw gynae yesterday, sent for urgent scan, also looking at a hysterectomy 😞, probably around the time both my daughters are doing exams😞

So, need to crack on and lose some more weight and get fitter, as I know with my EDS that healing will be really difficult, so I need to be as healthy as I can

#feeling motivated, let's go!

Have a happy and successful Thursday fs friends🤗

Nice to hear your good news, Poppy. Not so nice to hear the bad. As you probably know, I had a hysterectomy last December. Everything went smoothly so don't worry. I hope your back gets sorted out soon too. At least you've got the right idea in feeling motivated to lose weight and get fitter. That will definitely help with healing. By the way, I saw my consultant at SACH yesterday as we come under the West Herts Hospital Trust. Have a great day! 🙂

Ah I forgot .. St Albans is only 4 miles from us but a different trust.. we're east & west Herts! Saw gp today, who referred me to orthopaedics as steroids in my hip hadn't worked .. as I got up from the chair I fell due to the sharp pain in my hip and cried with the pain.. my gp is away but this new gp said he'd defo made the right decision to refer me and told me to go back on the morphine, but then I can't drive, so I said I'll just try to continue losing weight instead #motivated Thanks for your kind words and I'm really glad the dr is checking you out fully.. but of a pain, but he sounds really thorough 👍👍🤗

Well at least the GP got to see how bad you were. No wonder he told you to go back on morphine, although I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that. They gave me it in hospital when I had my hysterectomy but it made me feel sick. I managed with just paracetamol. Take care, Poppy!
