Thanks for all the advice yesterday.
Have decided to up my calories.
Had injections in my hip yesterday, so my weight normally fluctuates after steroids.
But hopefully, after a few days I'll be a bit more mobile, then can do stairs and my physio exercises.. longer term walking/ exercise bike.
Once the kids are back to school next week I'll start fasting again, so I can burn off some more of my own fat
Recalculated my requirements yesterday;
Aiming initially for
25g carbs
67g protein
112g fat ( some can come from my body fat)
1377 Cals
What do you think fs buddies ?

Currently watching the news and have to comment on the awful flooding on Texas, people who have lost everything, even some who have lost their lives😞😞

Well done on the weight loss, Poppy! Hope your hips will soon start to feel much better. Yes, the flooding in Texas is awful. Feel so sorry for everyone affected. Hope you have a lovely day 🙂

Those macros are pretty close to what I did for a year, other than my calories were capped at 1200. Lost fat and lean muscle, but I was also working out. Good luck and let us know how it goes :-)

Looking good Miss Poppy! I got shots in my knees yesterday, I know the struggle with blood sugar and weight afterwards, but it sure does help movement again for awhile doesn't it? Very heartbreaking about everyone affected by hurricane/TS Harvey. We just never know what can happen. 😕

Yes, I also use my body fat as my fat replacement for extra fat calories.Seems to work instead of adding extra fat, and everyone knows I had plenty of body fat to use first, before adding extra fat bombs..

Very grateful! Only thought on your plan is, is that enough calories? I haven't looked to see if you do cycling up (vs just fasting/cycling down) at all. Paula and Egull seem to know a lot about that. Joint pain is so limiting; hope you're feeling better soon.
