D day plus one
Need to reset my target weight, but can't remember how .. any tips? Yes Doobs.. it won't be time limited, but going for 150 lbs, which will be a 50lb total weight loss

The wedding was sooo much fun. My little cousin and his bride were glowing with happiness.
Friends and family had a fantastic time. I got to spend time with his mum, my godmother, who retired to Ireland 🤗🤗🤗

Food was a mix of English/ Irish /Turkish

Had to guess some nutrition content, but wasn't far off 72g carbs and 1100 kcal ( mainly due to dessert 😋😋)
TBH I didn't include a 2 mouthfuls of prosecco fir toasts and a sip of white wine 😉( no more as i had 2 car loads of relatives to drive back to the hotel after midnight !
We had- canapés.. I chose 2 pepperoni/halloumi on sticks .. avoided crostini and crackers

Starter.. rocket/mozzarella salad with balsamic dressing and 3 slices tomato.. no bread

Main course. 3 slices roast lamb, with roasted/braised celery/mixed peppers/carrots and a little gravy. Gave the rest of my carrots/onion/roast potatoes to my dad and uncle 😉

2 relatives bought Diet Coke as I was their driver. Otherwise I had water with the canapés and 2 litre carafes of water at the table

Later there was burger and chips.. I went to the ceilidh to avoid them.. wouldn't have been able to do that before I lost weight

Finally we had tea, wedding cake and baklava ( it was an Irish and Turkish wedding).. so I took cake and baklava Home for my girls ( it was an adults only wedding)

So apart from the dessert, which I really enjoyed, it was a WOE Day.. if I can do it, anyone can 😉

Couple of airport runs today..and probably tomorrow.. so I'll probably catch up with fs friends journals next week, apols in advance

It sounds like it was a fantastic day and well done on your choices. It was exactly the right day to make concessions in the way of a lovely dessert and some wine too. "Make the 'cheats' worthwhile" I can't remember if you use the desktop version of FS or an app but on desktop, go to your weight history then at the right you get options to change starts, goals, etc. Make sure you carry the obvious joy of yesterday into the rest of your weekend 🤗👍🏻

Thanks phooka Done it New target is 150 lbs 😁 12.6 lbs is doable, it will take as long as it takes 😁😁

Great, you found it! I've just had a look at your profile - isn't it time you updated it? You've achieved a lot since you wrote that, haven't you? To edit it on desktop, from your homepage that shows everyone's updates on the right is a toolkit section and "My Bio" and edit it there. You've some lovely pics to put there and some good descriptions of your journey. 👍🏻

Glad you enjoyed the wedding, Poppy. You should be able to edit your write up by going to My Toolbox on the desktop page and then My Bio as Phooka said. You don't have to add a new profile.

Woot! What a success story! 🙋🏻You have amazing willpower and you did marvelous picking and choosing what to eat for your WOE! LOL 💁🏻It's always nice to have handy men around who like to eat alot of what you don't! LOL 🙇🏻‍♀️ My ex was handy that way! You are fabulous! And it was nice of you to remember your girls!
