39 days to go
14.5 lbs to go 😔
14g net carbs
Managed 28hr fast yesterday.. longest yet!🎉🎉

The helicopter ride was brilliant!!
Went over London and saw all the landmarks from the air. Have wanted to go in a helicopter for years! Then my daughter took me to lunch❤️❤️

I see why there is a 14.5 stone limit fir the helicopter ride.. I sat at the side of 3 seats.. a bit like the back seats of a small car .. before losing weight I would have found it really hard to fit in the seat and it would have been impossible to stay in the seat as my sore hop would have been too squashed!!

I had garlic prawns and left the garlic bread. I searched for nutrition values online and did the best I could. Interestingly, I found the value on the harvester website for prawns with garlic bread. Then I tried to subtract the value of 1/4 of 4 garlic breads.. gave me a negative value fir protein! Checked again and found a value fir prawns only ( as an addition to main courses).. so as accurate as I can be, but don't trust the figures🤔

Up 0.2 lbs today, need the scales to go down not up!

Hip really sore, so will probably work a shorter day at work today.

Done an hours laundry this morning to try to burn a few extra calories, as defo no walking/exercise bike today with the hip pain and swollen ankle.this will get worse as the day progresses

Plan for today :-
Stay as active as pain permits
20g carbs
Aiming for 18:6 today.. will buy nuts on the way to work to break my fast ( thanks Doobrie). And make sure I eat enough calories to get my weight loss going ( thanks minitata)
When I have less than 14 lbs to lose I will book the afternoon tea at the grosvenor hotel in London that my daughter bought me for Mother's Day 😁😁
Record EVERYTHING-all food, drinks and activity all measured.
Write a plan every day fir the next week while I try to start shifting this weight

Have a happy and productive Monday fs friends 😎😎😎

Glad you had a good time. I'm not sure whether I'd like to be in a helicopter or not. The weight increase could be swelling on your hip.

Glad you enjoyed your helicopter ride so much. Sorry to hear about your hip. Take care and stop worrying about exercise or being as active as you can! You mustn't even think about in when you're in pain. What are you like - lol!

With something like garlic prawns you could add the prawns and garlic butter separately, that might be more accurate. Lidl have the best value whole roasted almonds I have found. 200 g for £1.39 (northern price?). In my Lidl they are with the baking goods rather than with the nuts in the snack aisle. Well done on the fast. x

I agree with Doobrie! 🙋🏻 Don't worry about the exercise! The swelling alone from inflammation can take you up and down. Soak in some Epsom salts and try to get through your day and enjoy your family! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks all. I took it easy yesterday Ffbb.. I parked outside Aldi yesterday whilst going to toysrus to buy a super soaker fir my daughter. Didn't have time to go in, as was up against it fir the school run. But I now know there is a new Aldi near my office, so willcheck them out. Thanks 😁 Doobrie and smprowett I listened to your advice and took it easy 🤗

Aldi's almonds are slightly more expensive for slightly less.
