52 days to go
Weight stable( at least it's stopped going up)

Non scale gains.. went to a work event yesterday that is normally annual, but I missed last year's. So some people I hadn't seen for 2 or 3 years. Unlike the event in October where a colleague told me how fat I'd got and another didn't recognise me until I spoke....
Yesterday people I've known for years didn't recognise me due to weight loss/changing shape.. oh and I've gone blonde since I last saw some of them

And yesterday I finally got under 20g net carbs.. 18.4 g and 745 calories.. really concentrated on it.

So today I woke up really motivated..

Got a surprise VAT ( tax) bill for £6,800.

Left home early to drive to cover for a colleague in a London hospital.. then another motorist hit my car, screamed at me cos I moved my car out of the traffic ( 5 lanes at a roundabout of rush hour traffic) and shouted that I was a criminal cos I didn't have my driving licence for him to photograph!!

Then I got to work a bit shaky and realised the meeting I had to attend was up two flights of external stairs.. so I needed a long detour for a lift, through offices and a training course. Got back to the office and found my computer locked me out 😔.. and I STILL avoided the 12 cupcakes in the kitchen and broke my 16 hr fast with water and nuts 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Have a great day whatever today brings you fs friends 😎😎

A day of 2 halves - bad to do with the car (idiot) driver who hit the car and the meeting problems and good as you kept under carbs and avoided the cupcakes. ~Well done, hope you're not too shaken and your car isn't too hurt

Oh dear, Poppy - what a string of unfortunate events and after you woke up so motivated too 🙁. I think I would faint at a tax bill like that. Was that from your previous business? Super well done for avoiding the evil cupcakes. I hope your day just gets better from here and ends with you feeling on top form. Take care 🙂

Thanks Doobrie and minitata.. The car will be ok..just the bumper.. my car was bigger than his, so I didn't come off worse. He'd only had a uk licence for a year and didn't seem to understand you can't just pull from one lane to another without indicating. Doobrie- yes VAT is an estimate bill from the shop as HMRC told me not to file nil return as I'm still waiting fir some final invoices so they ll owe me money.. then they sent me an estimate with penalties, postie was late yesterday so I found it in the box thus morning 😦 My manager has just finished my appraisal and put nothing positive in it, just that I was off sick for10 months .. so I made a cuppa and managed to avoid the red velvet cake, rest of the cupcakes, cheese and onion pasties and biscuits in the office kitchen. Determined not to stress eat, but I'll see how the evening goes 😊

Well done for keeping your cool and your resolve. And to think I was fretting because I might have lost my Pokémon Go account!

Thanks heidij and Nanette Nanette I'd say I'm more a desperate than strong woman at the moment.. I've just realised that the wedding when I see all my relatives is just over 50 days ago, so I have to up my game or I'll kick myself for missing this chance to motivate myself 😁
