55 days to go
17.5 lbs to go
1.2 lbs to go til I'm back to my 5th June weight

So I survived another university open day.
Loads of walking and standing and nearly 6 hours driving.!!!!! ( if you met me, you would understand what a feat of endurance this is for me)!🎉🎉

Eventually tho, I had to sit down by the side of the footpath and send my daughter and friends to view some of the accommodation without me.. but I made it til 4.30 pm😁

I failed in my fasting/avoiding carbs task.
But I had a small packet of kettle chips at 530pn to break my fast as I had to take extra painkillers/anti inflammatory meds to enable me to drive the girls home.. my right ankle was really swollen and my hand/hip/pelvis/knee/ back pain was bad.. I felt like my joints were 80 years old and I'm 45!!!! - only ONE packet and it was a SMALL one that was not followed by MORE crisps 😂
But..I had some victories over my old WOE

I only drank diet coke and water in the car, no fat coke, crisps or sweets
I had tea, no buttery toast, while the girls ate cooked breakfasts
I only had 2 krackerwheat for morning meds
I fasted from 4am til 5 pm
I avoided the carrot cake and red velvet cake the girls were eating
I avoided the noodles at luchtime
When I got home 🏡 I ate the tuna mayo topping and avoided the jacket potatoes the rest of the family ate
I had bacon and eggs with no beans sausage or toast
It was a really, really hard day.. I was stressed , tired and in pain which are massive triggers for me to go offplan.. but I didn't let my daughter down, really enjoyed the trip and counted the little nonscale victories.. if I can manage it, others can too..
Have a happy Saturday my fs friends 😎😎

Aww.. thanks smprowett and heidiji Oh Doobrie.. thanks 😊 I wouldn't call myself brave.. my daughter just needed me to do this. But I find documenting my daily struggles with carbs helps me to stay on track as I think of all the little battles I win on a daily basis .. slowly changing to healthier choices when I come up against challenges. E.g. I just had a cup of tea instead of eating buttered krackawheat , but the crackers are still calling me from the kitchen.. and I can't avoid the kitchen as I am supervising my 15 year old cleaning the oven for the first time!!
