62 days to go
Weight up 3lbs
Migraine finally gone 🎉
So, carbs defo cause weight gain for me
I've had toast/ crackers at breakfast or lunch for 3 days to take my codeine with.

But was my dad's birthday 2 days ago and I had a small slice of cake.
We had Chinese, but I avoided all rice noodles and dumplings.

Still, I had a real nonscales victory.. on Wednesday I managed to pour myself into a fitted size 12 dress. Ok.. it was made by pepperberry.. a special company that puts lots of extra material in the bust area. Ok- I had to wear a scarf to cover the cleavage to keep it looking professional (the kids said I looked like Jessica rabbit without it 😂)
BUT IT WAS A SIZE 12 FITTED DRESS and it looked so different to the size 18s I've been wearing since I returned to work 😁😁
Still no comments from the OH, but 3 colleagues told me I looked nice and the kids loved it

So after spending 3 days doing little because of my migraine/ swollen ankle from hours on the motorway attending my dad's birthday, I'm up and mobile and good to go. Day off- gonna clear the laundry and tidy up the house and be as active as possible to get those 3lbs off again.

Then I might have a cheeky sit down in the garden 😉, it's gonna be a lovely day

Have a happy and successful Friday fs friends 😎

Certainly is a victory, Poppy! Wish I could fit in a size 12 dress 🙂

I got brave and found size 14 ( with Lycra!!!!!) pair of denim hot pants in the back of the cupboard and they fit.. haven't worn them since I was in Tenerife 2 years ago! I am finally getting a waist instead of having a bigger belly than when I was pregnant #nonscale victories ❤️

Doobrie.. the bravissimo/pepperberry supercurvy sizing makes the bust still equivalent to a normal size 18, like yourself.. but it actually fits elsewhere ( just thought I'd explain so I don't feel like a fraud 😊) But still feels like a victory as I was able to wear a fitted outfit instead of bid and baggy to hide all the lumps and bumps x

Just had a look at their dresses and I see what you mean about the supercurvy sizing. They have a lovely collection. Congrats on getting into the hot pants too! I did manage to get into an old pair of size 14 jeans the other day (they also contain Lycra) but they're out of fashion as they're a bit flared! Couldn't bring myself to give them to charity though. I'll leave them in the wardrobe in case the fashion changes again - lol! x

Sounds like a fabulous dress! Great that you have the figure to wear it 😀

@Doobrie and Poppycom I MUST be the old lady in the bunch!🤷🏻‍♀️I still wear flared jeans! If the jeans make my butt look good, I don't give a rat's @ss what fashion says is 'IN'. LOL I've always been too tall and too curvy for whatever fashion said was fashionable so I make my own! As you can see by my avatar picture! I think I'm probably even wearing slightly flared jeans with that steampunk asymmetrical choker, the drop shoulder tank and the structured short jacket. I mean, I love vintage! LOL but being a 36G and 5'8" with weird tastes has always put me outside the fashion norm! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Poppycom- you might try a slice of provolone to take your meds with. That's what I'm starting to substitute in instead of crackers and it seems to be working.
