so, my lovely daughter paying for me to go to the hairdressers didnt cheer me up
correcting the factual errors in my occ health report didnt cheer me up (still awaitng a reply)
access to work have lost my assessment reoprt, but th elovely officer is chasing it, but that didnt cheer me up
normally i would go for a walk/use the exercise bike but i sprained my sore ankle again yesterday
so i decided to allow myself to eat off plan.. bagels, once my favourite food, did not cheer me up
today, i am 1.6lbs further away from my goal.. that did not cheer me up

BUT I COULDNT MANAGE TO BRING MYSELF TO EAT LARGE PORTIONS AND ONLY BROKE MY PLANNED 20 HOUR FAST ONCE :)
I DIDNT EAT ANY CAKES/CHOCOLATE/BISCUITS/CRISPS
I ONLY HAD ONE SMALL BOTTLE OF BEER AND NO BAILEYS OR WINE
MY BRAIN MADE THE INCONTRIVERTABLE LINK BETWEEN FEELING DOWN AND CRAVING EXERCISE TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER
I HAD BRILLANT SUPPORT FROM MY FS FRIENDS AND LOTS OF HELPFUL ADVICE AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT (EXCUSE THE PUN :) )
MY DAUGHTER TREATED ME TO A NEW HAIRCUT AND LOTS OF CUPS OF TEA
I HAVE VERY SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS
I HAVE LOST NEARLY 30LBS IN TOTAL AND NEARLY 20LBS IN 9 WEEKS AND THE 1.6LBS WEIGHT GAIN IS PROBABLY DUE TO CARBS AND STRESS CORTISOL YESTERDAY AND HOPEFULLY QUICKLY REVERSIBLE.
MY SUBCONSCIOUS BRAIN HAS CERTAINLY ABSORBED THE PRINCIPLES OF A HEALTHY LIFE


SO, ALTHOGUH I AM STILL DEEPLY UNHAPPY ABOUT HOW I HAVE BEEN TREATED, I WILL SUMMON THE STRENGHTH TO PLAN FOR MY FIGHT, GRATEFUL FOR MY BLESSINGS AND WORKING MY WAY TO A HEALTHIER LIFE :) :) :)

Whoa.. o just completed yesterday's food diary.. so I ate what I wanted and only had 1350 Cals.. but maybe the reason fir my weight gain today was the 135G NET CARBS!!!!!!!!😱😱 Good job I didn't have any potatoes/dumplings/crusty bread with my stew! Phew! Let's just say that's another lesson learned.. on 16 hr fast till 3pm ( had dinner at 7pm, but then cheeky beer at 11pm) Learning every day 😉

Well, you weren't too naughty then, but the carbs have probably made you retain some water weight. I think we're all learning every day and logging everything on here is the best way to work out what suits us best. Take care and have a good day, Poppy 🙂
