70 days to go
16.1 lbs to go
Can't get motivated to do anything
Not even hungry
Fed up of fighting battles, often to do things that others take for granted
I should be excited as arranging to collect various relatives from Ireland from the airport for the wedding, which means it's getting closer..
But just can't muster up the enthusiasm for anything, joints very sore today.. gritting my teeth for another day in the office 😔
Have a good at fs friends

Hope you get more mojo back soon {hugs}. Any chance of you working from home - perhaps for someone else? x

Oh dear, you sound so down Poppy and it won't help that your joints are feeling sore today. If you end up having to leave your job (and I would still try to get compensation from an Industrial Tribunal if you do), would you be able to manage on benefits? I'm wondering if you've looked into it.

:( hate that you're feeling so beat down me lady. You are truly an inspiration to so many. I can sympathize with the gritting the teeth for the office, Doc actually told me I need to change jobs this one is physically (even tho its a desk job) killing me---stress. You have come a long way, 30is NOTHING to sneeze at heck I cant even get 10 down, you are doing great. Hope the joints ease up for you....Know you are loved here.

I had to give up work when I was 40 - I was taking 8 co-codamol full strength just when I was in work and then adding to it at home. Getting disability benefits took me nearly 2 years - got sick pay and then had to fight for DLA. I struggled through for years, it was actually a great relief not having too. Think about it - YOU have to put YOU first.

I'm so sorry you are down Hon. The constant fight against people who don't understand is wearying. I DO understand. I was lucky to have a doctor when I became disabled 20 years ago who refused to sign my back to work release and most of my doctors since then have backed her up since I haven't been better than that at any point since. 🤦🏻‍♀️Take a few deep breaths, center yourself and draw some energy from Mother Earth 🌏 even meditate for a moment or two and find your center and a balanced and calm place from which YOU can venture forth in strength. Try visiting insighttimer dot com even if it's just for music to calm your soul during this hectic time. 💆🏻Take care, Sondra

thanks all, for the support, advice and hugs i have 15 and 17 yr old teenagers to get through university, so retirement/benefits is not an option for my family, especially after the election result.. so lucky for the conservatives that 16 and 17 yr olds dont have the vote. i have got disability living allowance at highest rate for mobility since 2006 and medium rate for care since 2010, so its not like i dont have documented disabilities! wieht is up today, but just have to get on with it !
