76 days to go
19.1 pounds to go
Spoke to physio yesterday.. can't do long walks/physio exercises/exercise bike for another 10 days as he's seen the X-rays of my ankle..
On the plus side I can now walk and drive 😁, so today will be chores all day as I have a day off. Also, cardiac monitor goes back today, so looking forward to a lovely hot shower to ease my joint pain.

I seriously need to start shifting some weight. Apart from cereal yesterday to prevent my migraine developing ( low bs is a trigger and meds in their own didn't work) I'm trying to do low carbs. I've upped my calories and protein. Trying to cut down a bit on my dairy as I read this can cause bs spikes.Have any of my fs friends got advice?
Have a happy and successful Friday fe friends x

I can only say that I feel so much better since I have cut out all dairy. Less allergies, less joint pain, less sinus trouble. Not scientificully proven...just a personal experience. :)

Thanks schmetterlinge34 .. my family are Irish dairy farmers so I doubt I'd be able to cut out tea or milk completely, but I used to drink Lots of milk and I think cutting down my cheese and milk further is definitely the way to go x

Poppy, for emergency food for me when I don't feel so well and am not up to making much I use my blender and put together a protein shake with ice. I use the purely organic vanilla vegetable protein powder with a tablespoon of Hershey's special dark cocoa (it tastes much better that way!) and add vanilla). I've switched totally to almond and coconut milk for myself that unsweetened with vanilla and I mix it with that and raspberry tea as the liquid. I add some mashed cooked carrots (that I keep prepackaged in the freezer in 1/4 cup baggies for sweetness and bulk) and 1/8 cup frozen strawberries. Normally also 1/4 cup greek yogurt as well. I know it sounds complicated, but I keep everything in a cabinet by the blender so it takes about 5 minutes and about 2 to clean the blender. Then I have a meal that is pretty nutritious and has the fats and proteins without too many carbs and you can stick other things into it you might want to get yourself to eat, but don't really like. Blenders are great for hiding food. 🤷🏻‍♀️Take care, Sondra 😘
