93 days to my cousin's wedding, sending the wedding acceptance card today 😁😁

So starting to go in the right direction again after the pear and almond pudding cake disaster 👍👍
Day off today and tomorrow to do the taxes from the business we folded last year, when I wasn't well enough to do anything!managed the exercise bike for the first time in ages. As I peddled I watched dr Michael Moseley on BBC iplayer about sleep/how to get better sleep and how poor sleep affects blood sugar and hunger hormones, including carb cravings.. very interesting and highly recommended.. I had 8 hours sleep and woke up this morning with natural light as recommended and feel much better😁😁
Hopefully 16:8 fast will stop me frequently visiting the fridge/crackawheat while I'm at home today.
A fs friend recommended that the remedy for stiff joints is to keep moving, so gonna do a few bursts on the exercise bike today ( I am way too unfit to manage more than 5-10 mins at a time and it hurts my back and the bursitis in my hips)🚲
I working towards my own pants falling down incidents as discussed by my fs friends yesterday.. will be a. new measure of success, but a good way to go yet!!😊
Have a happy and successful day fs friends 😁😁

I will need to watch that program - I wake up around 2-3 AM and struggle to go back to sleep - Best of luck dropping your pants -it's liberating I can tell you. -)

LOL you don't have to emulate me! But it WAS amusing in retrospect! And the daughter still laughs about mom walking out if her 👖 pants! I wasn't kidding about the Miranda Esmonde-White books! Ask your physio. Her stretches on Public Broadcasting are adaptable and gentle enough for most conditions. Look for her books in your library and on Amazon. The cortisol, adrenaline, insulin connection is explained in The Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung, (on YouTube as audio) also talked about by Dr. Buhrman, I believe, in his presentation on YouTube for women after menopause and resetting their set point, a bit more controversial than Fung, but some interesting ideas. And all of this stuff ties into the research they are doing with how the mitochondria in muscles actually work to store our short term food stores for use, etc.

Smprowett, yes Miranda Esmonde-White is a good workout. It is played on our Tampa PBS station. Thanks for mentioning the other info as I'll look it up on Youtube!

@ Rochelle was actually Dr Berg , I think, on youtube there are three or four doctors presentations that circle around the obesity code one if you look it up enough trying to get it to download to listen to it offline. 😜🤓🤷🏻‍♀️It was the presentation talking about post menopausal women and resetting metabolism. I figured I'd go back and give it another listen once I finished and thoroughly understood all the points Dr. Fung was making. 🙇🏻‍♀️ I sometimes know I'm too old for this! 💁🏻

Thanks all Smprowett and adpully..I can already pull my trousers up and down without undoing the waist, so getting closer 😉 Smprowett.. had to delay my physio appt by a couple of weeks as I'm. Working on ankle strength but have not been able to do my exercises properly due to 3 bad sprains from falls Will ask him when I see him on 16th June 👍
