95 days to go.
The official wedding invite arrived today 🎉🎉- so excited!!
So, up and out early. Collected my eldest daughters friend, then got the train into London. Went to the garment industry shops that open on a sat morning. Saw hundreds of gorgeous dresses. Such s happy day watching teenagers trying on prom dresses for their families. After several hours my daughter found an amazing dress and was both stunning and very comfortable in it!
Then got the train home and drove to a big shopping mall for her best friend to go suit shopping . I enjoyed going into shops way above my budget with a size 8 teenager, completely different to my own shopping experiences! Her mum lived abroad, so it was great to be able to help her (she calls me mum anyway)
After my McDonald's mistake, I followed fs friends advice and had a burger, no bun with cobette instead of fries. When I got home I was wiped out. I made sausage sandwiches and ate a mouthful of the bread.. annoyed at myself but it was the best I could do.
I also learnt that flora now tastes like chemicals as I am used to using butter now.
A month ago, let alone a year ago, I would never have been able to stand for so long shopping.. it was a delight to see the girls faces when they got what they wanted . Hooray 😁😁👏👏🎉🎉
The battle to fight the carbs continues !
Have a great Sunday fs Friends xx

Congratulations on the MacDonalds! That's always a hard one! Breakfasts are much easier there as you can get the sausage muffins with eggs and leave the muffin! LOL As for the bread when you got home, don't sweat it, you're human, Hon! Cut yourself slack! Start to keep nuts you like handy and/or nut butters that you can have a tablespoon full of for an energy boost. A quarter cup of walnuts or pecans are a MARVELLOUS snack! Pair that with a piece of cheese or lunch meat or a piece of lettuce or a little baby bell of cheese or some radishes if you have them clean and ready to munch. Or pick up some VERY GOOD QUALITY vegetable crackers/sticks/chips that are higher in protein and fat and low in carbs there are a few on the market here in the States. You just need to be prepared for the situations you will find yourself in. You thought ahead in your old job, use that now. Make the assumption that any time you go out you will come home tired so always have your meal prepared for when you get home! 💁🏻I make it sound trivial, but it took me 25 Plus years of constant illness and pain to develop that mindset. You prepare for the bad while you feel good so you aren't caught short and have more good time. Make sense?

Thanks smprowett. I normally have almonds, but was too tired to think about them. Infant, my daughter treated us to the gourmet burger co..was a lovely burger and saying no to the fresh briochebun was hard! Have a good day xx
