97 days to go . 20.6 lbs to lose before my cousin's wedding.. starting to look achievable!
Down 0.8 lbs!! Haven't been this weight since 2015!
Woohoo!
I did eat some spaghetti ( few mouthfuls) and a small packet of crisps last night.
We were celebrating the end of the court case and my eldest daughter was made deputy head girl. Yay!
It was really weird.. OH had bought cheesecake and strawberry cream doughnuts.. I really couldn't eat any as I couldn't see them as a treat, just full of sugar! He bought a packet mix for bolognaise ( my hands were sore) to try to save me effort in the cooking. All I could taste was chemical flavourings and sugar.
So my taste buds aswell as my attitude are definitely changing.
I am hoping that OH/my daughters/work colleagues soon notice I've finally succeeded in losing weight. Once I can explain my low sugar, low carb WOE, maybe people will stop offering me cakes/biscuits/refined flour products.

How much did any of you lose in weight/ inches / clothes sizes before anyone noticed you were losing weight??

Oh dear! I realised the weight was wrong on yesterday's entry, but when I corrected it, fs app appears to have deleted everyone's comments and support! This is the second time this had happened, so maybe I'm doing something wrong.. but thanks from the bottom of my heart.. you all rock x

It's fantastic that you've managed to re-train your tastebuds and can now see the sweet things for what they are. If they're no longer a treat for you there's no need to eat them! Well done!

I had the same kind of thing happen when I changed my diet type. It had me losing all my weight in 1 month and "losing" all my historical entries. Really irritating! Program's got some bugs. But the social life is worth tolerating them! 😉

Took folks awhile because I just kept same clothes, and downsized Garments. When I did get new ones, some folks thought it happened so quickly. Office workers, you could change over night and they wouldn't notice. Friends were best at support and compliments. I still turn down food, at work.

I tell people if they offer me baked goods like donuts, cakes etc, that I am allergic to eggs. After that people know and don't offer again. :) It is true that I am allergic to eggs so I'm telling the truth, it does help with the "friendly enemies" that offer and say "oh one bite won't hurt you" LOL

Thanks for all the advice and support . Fejaka..aww thank you. In the last year I've closed a business, had many operations and episodes of my lillheath,and months off sick. I've been to criminal court as a witness and staved off bankruptcy. I have struggled with my disability and to get back to work.And my family friends have supported me EVERY step of the way. I've also been ( and still am) on a massive learning journey to improve my health and shared my victories large and small and tried to support others. We all have our battles and I feel like I am gradually winning mine. So I'm glad you find my journals helpful xx

I lost between 15-20 pounds before anyone noticed.

Someone noticed me after only 15 pounds because the first place I lost it was along my jaw line. My face looked thinner immediately. But the real first place that made me happy was when my stomach flattened out at 154 pounds.

I understand the tastebuds thing. I bought fresh strawberries and was making real whipped cream with Hershey's special dark cocoa in it and a touch of honey to sweeten it for my daughter and by the time she thought it was sweet enough, I thought it was grossly overly cloying sweet.

Wow, you are doing great congrats on the loss! I have lost 35 lbs and went from a 30-32W to a 24W I have had a few comments from friends that see me when I am out or family that sees me daily and I have taken pics and tried comparing them side by side but I can't seem to get my eyes to see the difference others tell me they see. I think being as overweight as I am and that being the majority of my adult life it will take me a while for it to sink in. I am so afraid of failing yet again I am afraid to admit I might actually be successful this time...
