177.8lbs. Sigh!
107 days to go
Was as active as I could be yesterday
Still ate 16:8, but ate a bit earlier in the day to see if it would help with weight loss. It didn't !!
Up at 5am to do chores before sitting down all day. I'm getting cellulitis on my leg so started on antibiotics to try to prevent going to hospital/being off work sick as ill go back to half pay when I'm off work and I know I have 2 more back surgeries coming up .
I can. Really see why people with health problems give up fighting and end up piling on weight. Been there, done that, old me 😔
I'm on a course 9 til 1230 today, so I can just sit down and rest my leg then.
Torn between resting and trying to stay active in case I end up bedbound later in the week with my leg. Just have to suck it up and try and push through the pain, otherwise I'll never shift this weight and my health will never improve.
Not fasting today, but running a temperature and don't feel well enough to eat.
Nearly time to get the girls up for school.. they both have exams today.
Have a great day fs friends xx

Don't beat yourself up. If you're getting cellulitis that is inflammation - which causes fluid build up in the area - I'm surprised it hasn't gone up more.

Hey Poppy, see if you can find one of two books or both by Miranda Esmonde-White , she's a Canadian. Books are, "Aging Backwards," or, "Forever Painless." I've been really messing up my eating and gym the last few weeks but have been on and off doing the stretching routines lined out in her books (and staying within my macros more or less so/so) and I've managed to take off more than I have in months and the exercises weren't hurting me as much as exercising normally does. So you might check it out. The whole approach is based on working the muscles while lengthened ie. stretched, instead of compressed like weightlifting or many other exercise things do so it becomes one more weapon in our arsenal. 😁

Hey lady, you have enough time to lose 23 lbs safely at 1.5 lbs a week that puts you at 154 by the event. Is that what you're shooting for? I can't remember. You can do it. Stay away from the white stuff: sugar, flour, and rice. Eat good carbs-they keep you full.

Not to worry, Poppy. Weight loss is far more about food than exercise and, as Minitata said, the inflammation can cause fluid build-up. Hope your leg feels better soon x

Thanks all😁 Feeling a bit less hacked off. Antibiotics have started working 👍👍 I'll check with my physio about stretches as I have a connective tissue disorder (EDS) and sometimes dislocate joints if I stretch/move the wrong way x

Mention "Classical Stretch" and "Essentrics" to your physio most who are good know of the programs because they incorporate many physical therapy elements in them. And your physio may be able to point you even at specific parts that are better for you to do or better targeted for your issues. Be well, Poppy😘
