Paleo Judy's Journal, 28 Mar 17

Trying something new for me today, a Strawberry protein shake which I've put in lactofree milk. I have food intolerances, so I'll have to see how I get on with it. Saw a Consultant at the hospital recently. The good news was that diet and exercise have improved my lipid results as much as would be expected from medication. The bad news is he surprised me by asking me to lose a few more pounds. Says this is likely to stabilize my blood sugar problems and help with my sleep difficulties. I'm quite happy with my weight at present, but I'll give it a go. Don't want to look as thin as a cocktail stick. Been a bit lazy about logging things lately, but I'll start up again.

I agree, I don't want to be too thin either. How tall are you? You look about my height, 5ft 5ins. But I suppose if he thinks it will help, you'll have to give it a go....

Coming back to this Heidi as missed the question. I'm 5 foot 8, so 10 stone is about average for me. The Consultant may be right about losing more weight, as for many years I was 9 stone 3 lbs. Definitely got to lose weight now anyway, as have put on a load of weight over Easter. Thanks for saying I look OK Mrs Maths - probably now beginning to look like one of the Easter eggs I've been munching.

Aww Judy... I hope you're looking like the easter-egg PRE-munch (thinks of a partly or fully munched-up easter egg...) good results on the lipid test, though. Tries to imagine being a cocktail stick next.. hmm how about a cocktail stick with a few olives and (lacto-free) cheese on it? mmmm - seriously I have GOT to stop thinking about food (what is wrong with meee?)
