I've been on a LCHF Ketogenic diet for exactly 1 year now. I've lost 156 pounds and my blood glucose has gone from 13.5 mmol/L to 3.9 mmol/L. As a result I've stopped taking all diabetes and high blood pressure medication. My waist is now 13 inches smaller than a year ago.I feel ten years younger and I absolutely love this style of eating :)
83.5 kg Lost so far: 68.9 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Well done! I'm considering trying to cut the carbs out of my diet too. It scares me slightly, how easy have you found it to stick to? :)

Hi Slimmy10. I've found it really easy to stick to the diet. Just remember to prepare/cook all of your own food and buy unprocessed ingredients. I simply will not have high carb food in my house...for any reason. No high carb food means no temptation! G.

Thanks for the reply ChelseaBoy, I don't eat too many processed foods so I don't think i'd struggle to cut them out completely. I love meat and cheese so being able to eat that is a bonus. But I have 2 children under 4 and a partner who eats a lot of bread! So I can't eliminate all of these foods from my house. I have recently learned a bit more self control so i'm going to give it a go. Starting tomorrow as I've eaten loads of white bread today for the first time in weeks haha.
