This week has flown by! We went to the Gym on Monday. I started out pretty energetic & finished pretty worn out. I guess that's the point, huh...do it til you can't!

On Tuesday, I had lunch with my sister at our favorite Japanese place. I usually have sushi but changed it up & ordered Pho with beef. I ate half & brought half home. I had a gift card from my son & his family for Mother's Day burning a hole in my pocket, so I stopped & bought more annuals for my hanging baskets & some planters plus a variety of herbs. I got basil, rosemary, thyme & parsley.

Yesterday, we decided to skip the Gym, planning to go today. Hubby was playing poker last night & it was his turn to provide refreshments. I didn't want to cut my workout short so he could get home earlier. I ended up doing a workout of sorts. I planted all of the annuals & herbs. I put the herbs in planters bordering our driveway patio. This involved climbing up & down the ladder to do the hanging baskets, lugging potting soil around, moving planters around, crouching, bending, lifting, watering with the hose....then cleaning up all the mess. Yep....a workout 😊

We had bad thunderstorms overnight. I worried all the rain was going to pummel my plants to death! It was still rainy this morning....heavy at times. Part of the county was without power. I did a walk around during a little break in the rain & everything survived the night. Hubby wasn't in the mood to go to the Gym today, either. I wasn't sure how long the rain was going to last & it didn't take much to convince me to stay home.

It ended up being sunny in the afternoon. I planted one last plant & gave everything a fresh spritz of deer repellant.

Tomorrow is a Gym day....no excuses! I'm ready to be back.

I took some time today to try on my swimsuits in preparation for our upcoming beach trip. I have one new one, but I think I want to look for at least 1 or 2 more. I can make some of the ones I have work, but most of them I had before losing weight. I did buy a new 2 piece a couple of summers ago. Maybe I'll look for another.

Well, need to get to bed....😴💤💤
