Hate is a strong word. ...but I hate the way these senseless happenings in the world make me feel. I've lived a life of fear and never thought I would feel like this again.

I sit here knowing my son is on the way to Pride and try not to think what a target gatherings like that have become. Why do people hate so much? My son knows the risks but he always says "As soon as you stop living your life because of a threat of another....They win."

87.4 kg Lost so far: 8.1 kg. Still to go: 16.4 kg. Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I think your son sounds amazing - his attitude is the ONLY way ... its the future....you sound like you have a lot of sensitivity ... which can make life tough can't it? But it is also the only way - who want to not be in touch with their feelings? I hope your son has a great night at Pride and the collective strength of everyone there defeats any negativity that might threaten their lives and their love for each other.
