Well, this is frustrating. I made a blender full of green smothie, added all the stats into my personal favorite foods list under Green Smoothie 2 but now I can't log the volume of what I actually consumed (not the whole jug!). So, it looks like I ate more than I did but I'll let it stand as is cuz I'm not spending any more time on it.

pour it into multiple same size jars and math it from there. I have to do that all the time cause I make stuff with alternatives. Such as HempYeah ground hemp seeds - protein AND fiber. And allulose sweetener in stuff, and extra lot of beef plus bok choi, and hemp hearts in my chili, and carnitas pork roast in my pinto beans. So once stuff is done, divide it evenly and math it out.

Yeah, I've done it in the past but tonight it got on my last nerve ;-) so I'll come back to it later. Maybe, maybe not...

Sharon, my 'sometimes' level of OCD (or is that stubborn persistence) got the better of me and I did the math thing after all. Math (Arithmetic) was the bane of my existence in school. Not till I got into nursing school and was mentored on lunch hour by a random 'general studies' young man who was a math genius did it click. He knew how to make it simple so I could relate it to everyday tangible something. Till then math was totally abstract thinking in my book. Now we know it's valuable in the kitchen, not just medication dosage formulas!

If you add the recipe to your cookbook it automatically calcs the serving macros for you.

abbadabba, more and more I do bother to add to the cookbook - very useful especially since I can see the grams of a serving to eat half sometimes - or extra. My recipes always show as pending at the end of the title, but they work great for portion management.
