Today was a rest day. I took full advantage, too. I did put away a bunch of laundry I had hung up & folded a few days ago. I also "unpacked" my jewelry I had taken on my trip & put it all away & organized my jewely trays.
I made a couple of calls to my sister & daughter & caught up on all the news.
It was nice outside in the shade, so I sat on the deck & read for awhile. Then I came in, made a snack & watched Sweet Magnolias on Netflix.
We had a storm threat last night that ended up being mostly wind gusts...up to 40 MPH. At one point we heard a loud crash on the roof & I was convinced a tree must have fallen over on it. It was only branches that hit the roof, then fell onto the deck. I don't know if we ever got any actual rain. The power went off but was back in about 5 minutes. Finally it settled down & we were able to watch some TV.
