Princess Mola's Journal, 16 May 13

I fell off the 'healthy living' wagon in April and May and couldn't get past the 'guilty' phase. I had expected this phase to kick in and thought I was well prepared for it - now I think I was in complete denial. I experienced some traumatic events preceding April and I now realise that it is better to face up to the effect of these events on my dietary plan instead of making excuses. And now, I am scared of trying to get back to my healthy regime in case I fail again! Yet, not doing something about my weight would have great consequences on my quality of life.

Buddies, how do I get past this 'fear' stage?
132 kg Lost so far: 8 kg.    Still to go: 54 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

First, welcome back we missed you! Second, stop beating yourself up. You didn't fail, you had a momentary slip. No worries, everyone does now and then. Just remember you are establishing a new habit and new habits are not created overnight. So, focus on an interim positive goal (beach vacations always do it for me) rev up your engine and get started. You might have another slip but we are all here to catch you :)
